AMBLESIDE SPEECH
Speech, Language and Communication Therapy
Improving communication through meaningful and innovative practice.
Communication is a complex process that is driven by wants, needs and the desire to share experiences. What we communicate to each other is conveyed through body language, emotional expression, verbal speech and behaviour. Speech is a very efficient means of sharing complex information quickly and meaningfully, and is used as a primary tool for participating within our society.

When traditional forms of communication is challenged by inadequacies, alternative and augmentative methods provide a means for individuals to connect with the world around them, fostering independence, enhancing social interaction and improving overall quality of life.

At Ambleside Speech, we offer a full range of services for all age groups and offer individualized assessment and treatment services that are designed to help communicate effectively and more confidently by overcoming challenges through engaging and positive experiences.
