Hello, I'm Tess.
Tess received her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. She is registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC and is a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada. Tess is also completing a clinical fellowship with the American Speech and Hearing Association, where she will receive her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.

Tess is certified to teach the Hanen More Than Words® program to parents and caregivers of young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or social communication difficulties. Furthermore, Tess is a PEERS® Certified Provider (The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) and a PEERS® Telehealth Provider. This is an evidence-based social skills treatment for adolescents with ASD, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional challenges. Tess has also completed the Lidcombe Program training, a behavioural treatment program designed for young children who stutter.
Presently, Tess has been working with a wide range of paediatric speech and language disorders where she delivers holistic therapy using a play-based and functional approach. Tess believes in family-centred services and is passionate about providing therapy in an interactive and fun environment.
